133.....18.....STANDARD GOLF CO, SUNDERLAND, ENGLAND: A good example of the scarce "Z" Model, Mills Long Nose aluminum putter. All head and sole stamps are good and the hosel is sound. Grip is a replacement over the original shaft. This example would make a nice addition to any collection. G-7 $290

133.....19.....UNKNOWN MAKER: An outstanding aluminum head mallet with "F" and "Pat Apl'd For" on the sole and "Beaumont" on the back. The "C" shaped aluminum head has a raised black sightline and a steel face insert. A nice collectible from the late 1920's. G-8 $125

133.....22.....HUNT MANUFACTURING CO, WESTBORO, MA: "Hunt Non-Rustable" Approaching Putter circa 1898-1900. Shaft is a replacement. A few dings in the soft non-rustable metal head and hosel. "Hunt's Nonrustable" stamp is perfect. Very sacare! G-6+ $235

133.....29.....UNKNOWN MAKER: No markings on head or shaft. Face design on both sides. Shaft and grip are one piece wood and painted black. Probably a carpet game or parlor putter. G-5 $75

133.....30.....UNKNOWN MAKER: "1932" stamped on the toe of an otherwise unmarked two way blade Putter with five deep lines in the center of both sides. Most likely used for Putt-Putt or miniature golf. G-7 $75

133.....152.....McWATT, THOMAS, MUSSELBURGH: A circa 1885-95 BULGER face Transitional Play Club with the golden Beech head stamped "McWatt". The face is decidedly curved from heel to toe creating a "bulge" at the center. Willie Park is credited with inventing the bulger face driver and used one while playing in the 1885 British Open. Both Park and McWatt were from Musselburgh. G-6 $875.

133.....153.....MITCHESON: A Long Nose Play Club circa 1885-1890 with a slightly hooked faced. "W L Mitcheson" on the head and shaft. The whippings at the grip and splice appear to be original. G-8 $975.

There is a horn slip between the bottom of the face and the brass rounded sole plate. This club has the appearance of a Bull-dog"trouble wood.
