130...2.....ANDERSON OF ANSTRUTHER, SCOTLAND: An outstanding "Anderson's Special Putting Cleek, Rd No 277771" with the heel marked "9808". The hosel is off set and similar to Taylor's twisted hosel Putter. All back markings are deep and bold. The shaft is exotic Dangawood. A nice collectible putter. G-8 $225

130...6.....COCHRANE'S LT'D, EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND: "Knight" mark at the toe of a Top Spin Putter circa 1920's with "Reg. No. 539228" and "Robert D Randall, Herne Bay" on the back. The shaft and hosel are OVAL shaped and the shaft is made of exotic Dangawood. This putter is virtually MINT new! G-9 $325

130...7.....FOSTER BROS., ASHBOURNE: "The Bogee Putter" with a sight line added to the aluminum head. Sole stampings are deep and bold, however, there are two hairline cracks in the square hosel as a result of the reshafting. Still a presentable example. G-6 $150

130...8.....FOSTER BROTHERS, ASHBOURNE: A virtually MINT new aluminum head "Bogee" putter. The face has criss-cross scoring and the stamps on the head and sole are deep and bold. The grip had shrunk so badly, I had to replace it. Otherwise this club is mint and appears not to have seen a putting green. G-9 $475

130...9.....GIBSON, WILLIAM, KINGHORN, SCOTLAND: "James Braid, Walton Heath, Surrey" above the "James Braid" script signature mark on a scarce off set hosel putter. Original looking shaft has a slight warp. G-5 $80

The hosel and shaft are oval in shape. One of the nicest examples available to collectors. To quote Johnny Henry: "It's a Keeper!" G-8 $325

130...22.....SUGGS, LIVERPOOL: An outstanding Crescent shaped "Special Putter" in the Brown-Vardon style with "pyramid" dot face scoring. The head is stamped "Suggs, Ltd, Makers, Liverpool". Hosel is oval as well as the Greenheart shaft. A great looking putter. G-8 $250

130...23.....WILSON, WILLIE, ST. ANDREWS: A circa 1880's straight blade putter with top of blade and hosel join squared indicating a pre-1895 forging. The hosel is very thick and has deep nicking. "W. Wilson, Maker, St. Andrews" on the back. Only the bottoms of "W Wilson" are readable. "Maker" and St. Andrews" are fully readable. Original looking shaft with a sheep skin grip. A significant early steel putter. G-7 $450

130...24.....WINTON, W & CO, LT'D, MONTROSE, SCOTLAND: A long blade putter with five widely spaced rows of five dots. The "Diamond" and "78" stamped above "The Rob't Harris Model Putter". G-7 $75

130...25.....CANN & TAYLOR, LONDON, ENGLAND: A "Mills" type aluminum head with "Model 'F'" and "9.15", signifying the weight in ounces, on the bottom. "J H Taylor, Reg. # 607239" is stamped above and below the unusual raised "sight" line on the head. The shaft is a replacement and the hosel is sound. Head and stampings are good and the grip is a nice sheep skin. G-7 $225

130...26.....STANDARD GOLF CO, SUNDERLAND, ENGLAND: A "Braid-Mills 1915 Model" aluminum mallet head putter circa 1915-20 with two minor hairline hosel cracks and original shaft and grip. Still G-7 $70.

130...29.....STANDARD GOLF CO, SUNDERLAND, ENGLAND: A Scarce circa 1900 "Y Model" Long Nose Aluminum Putter with a Upright Lie. The "Y" was modeled after the famous maker Philp long nose putters. Sole and head stamps are deep and bold and the hosel has a tiny dent at the shaft, but no cracks or chips. G-6+ $275

130...30.....STANDARD GOLF CO, SUNDERLAND, ENGLAND: An outstanding, very scarce, Long Nose Putter marked "The Mills "K" Model" with a Medium lie. All stampings are clear and bold. Grip is a nice replacement. This is one of the better "K" models available in the market place today. G-8 $390.

130...32.....BURKE MFG CO, NEWARK, OH: A Mint New never used "Columbia Special" slightly off set hosel hyphen face blade. Burke's "Rampant Lion" mark at the toe and the "Crown" is at the heel. G-9.75+ $125.

130...33.....HILLERICH & BRADSBY, LOUISVILLE, KY: A "Par-X-L" flanged back "#80 Putter" with the "Arm & Hammer Hand Made" mark at the toe. This ladies putter has Stag-Dot face scoring. All original. G-7 $55

130...34.....MACGREGOR, DAYTON, OH: A circa 1900 smooth face "Emoried" sweet spot straight blade with a rounded back. The "Double Circle" mark is nearly emoried away. Shaft marked below a 1920's leather grip. G-4 $65.00

130...35.....REACH, A J, PHILADELPHIA: "Eagle Grade" and a large spread winged Eagle on the toe of a circa 1925 blade Putter. Face is interestingly scored with square punches and lines. All original. G-7 $75

130...44.....SCOTTISH GOLF CLUB MFG CO, LTD, EDINBURGH: A very scarce "Scottish Golf Club Manufacturing, Co. Ltd., Edinburgh" circa 1895 straight brass blade. The top of blade and hosel join are squared off. Grip is a period type replacement on the original looking shaft. A very seldom offered maker as they went out of business prior to 1898. $175

130...45.....UNKNOWN MAKER: A circa 1890's smooth face straight brass blade with "Special, London" on the back. Maker's name has been worn off. Original shaft with replacement grip. Nice putter. G-6 $150

130...46.....UNKNOWN MAKER: A very early, pre-1860 two way brass blade with both sides having between eight and ten degrees of loft. No stampings on either side. The 4 1/2 inch hosel is very thick and has saw tooth nicking and an interesting knerling ring just below the nicking. Shaft is a nice, in-period replacement. G-6+++ $650

130...81.....UNKNOWN MAKER: Circa 1890-1895 Lofter stamped "Scotsman" in small block letters on the back. The Hickory shaft is very thin and has an interesting "spindle" shape where it enters the hosel. G-7 $150
